Services

We are pleased to offer a full range of dental services for you and your family. Dr. Burton is committed to making sure her patients understand and are comfortable with each step of their treatment. Please read below to find out more and call if you have any questions.

Crowns & Bridges

Crowns are used on teeth that are too weak to withstand a filling. Placing a crown prevents the tooth from further decay or cracking. Bridges are used to replace a lost tooth without having to install a denture or dental implant.

Teeth Whitening

We have a variety of ways to help you brighten your teeth. You can start with Crest Whitestripes, which we sell at the office, if you have only a slight discoloration. For those with deeper stains, we offer tray-based tooth whitening systems that can be done at home as well as in-office bleaching.

Cleaning

We encourage patients to visit us every six months for a basic cleaning and checkup. Staying on a regular schedule will save a lot of time and money in the long run! Getting a cleaning from our dental hygienist will help prevent cavities, tooth decay as well as stay on the forefront of any potential problems.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Not everyone was born with perfect teeth, but everyone can have perfect teeth. Call our office or visit with Dr. Burton about your options, including braces, veneers and teeth whitening.

SRP

SRP stands for scaling and root planing and is used as a tool for more intense and specific cleaning of teeth with bacteria at the roots. This process usually takes two office visits.

Partials & Dentures

Partials and dentures are used to replace missing teeth. Partials are used when only a section of teeth needs to be replaced and are not permanent fixtures in the same way a bridge is. Full dentures are used when all of the natural teeth must be removed.

Extractions

Dr. Burton received her doctorate in dental surgery in 1995 and is highly qualified to perform tooth extractions. A local anesthetic is used during the surgery and is usually done in less than an hour, depending on the number of teeth being extracted.

Intra Oral Camera

Bethel Dental strives to keep up with the latest technology in dentistry and is proud to offer an intraoral camera. This tiny, hand-held cameras is used during exams to provide the best possible view for Dr. Burton to view a patient's teeth as well as to educate the patient and allow him or her to see what Dr. Burton is seeing.

X-Rays

We encourage patients to have X-rays done every 12 months to make sure we are providing the best possible care for their teeth. We peform all X-rays in-house at Bethel Dental.

Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment is a great option for teeth with inflammed or damaged tissue on the inside of the tooth. The procedure involves cleaning out the tissue and then filling and sealing the tooth. Often, keeping the tooth and treating it as opposed to pulling is the best option, as it minimizes later complications or more visits associated with implants, bridges and partials.
